SDL-FP louvers are fire-rated for up to 1 1/2 hours in hollow-metal or composite fire doors. Units feature 18-gauge cold rolled steel frames with 16-gauge adjustable sight-proof Z-blades (45% free area). The self-attaching frame includes a 1 1/4 in [31.7 mm] trim with mitered, welded corners, and screws fasten through the frame into the core, leaving the corridor side free of exposed fasteners. A fusible link activates at 165°F, closing and locking all blades to help contain smoke and heat.
The SDL-FP louver is designed for 1 3/4 in [44.5 mm] thick door and is stocked in the sizes and finishes shown in the chart below. Custom finishes, non-standard sizes, and add-ons such as screens and zinc-plating are available. For complete specifications, please see the cut sheet.
